Fiji Dry Rock - Aptasia Survived!?

So I order a fifty pound box of dry rock to eliminate the possibility of Aptasia and two weeks after I get it wetted up, what pops out? Yup, unbelievable!:angryfire:
It sat for an entire day with just RODI water on until I got the salt levels up too.
I think I'm just going to break off the rock where it's situated rather that try and kill, it but those things are unreal!

That's an impressive hitchhiker. Makes you wonder how long it was out of the water from your supplier.

I remember when I opened the box, the rock was in a plastic bag and you could feel and smell the moisture. No water droplets, just moisture. I'm sure the rock needs to sit out in the sun for a long time so get all the moisture out of it.
I was even thinking, wouldn't it be great if some coralline managed to survive! Just my luck!

Unless the pods, snails, hermits etc that I ordered from IPSF had one in there somewhere, that's the only other place it could have come from. Meh, he's gonna die tonight eitherway!
