I was just wondering, has anyone ever used silicon grease to lubricate moving parts in their systems?

I've used that same product on th 'o' rings on my old skimmer. Never caused an issue.

I use teflon grease. Works great, and lasts longer than silicone.

I also use the o-ring silicone lubricant. I use it to coat the shafts of the impellers on my powerheads. I feel like I can go longer without cleaning them when I do that.
