Just wondering which grade plastic is best for storing saltwater? I got 2 5 gallon buckets from Home Depot with a 2 in the triangle for the plastic. Which is the best??

All should be fine, Polycarbonate, acrylic, PE, PP have never had issues, the PP and PE are ususally thinner and will bend but it depends on the tub. Either way the plastic wont do anything to the water nor the water to the plastic.

I have been using the 5 gallon spring water jugs for years and have not had and problems. I store RO-DI water/salt water for weeks at a time.

I have been using 5 gallon buckets just heard that if your going to store it for more than some hours it should be a specific type of grade plastic
