The BRS dual reactor is pretty good, I run it on my 120 mixed reef. Just make sure that you rinse out the media well before you hook it up to your tank or you will get a lot of fine dubris on the rocks and glass.

I'm looking into the NextReef MR1 for my 75g. Been reading alot of good reviews on them.

You get what you pay for, the dual reactor is decent but you will get better results and less adjusting with separate reactors. Most who had the brs will tell you that it is hard to adjust the flow correctly so that both media is being turned correctly. If you want one of the lower priced ones then Two Little Fishies reactors are hard to beat for the price, but if you want a larger more well built then there is a lot of options

I also like the Reef Octopus and Avast Marine Reactors.

I also was looking into the next reef. I'm only 23 and and poor but that doesn't mean I ant wait a month and save for something worth the price. I just want to do it correctly

IMO i think the next reef is a good price. I mean $70 in this hobby is like a nickel in your pocket lol I will most likely go with the next reef. Quality, price and reviews pretty much has me sold.

I have the BRS dual reactor and am not thrilled with it.... If I were you I would look at other options.

I am quite a fan of the Avast Marine Reactors. I have used BRS in the past as well and are good value.
