So my brand new 400w Radium bulb has shifted color. Now it's more purple / pink than it should be. Will this affect PAR output of the bulb? Does it affect coral coloration?

I would say that is not a good thing. I have two lamps that are 14 months old and a third that is brand new and I cannot tell the difference between the three. I would try it with another ballast and see if it looks the same. See if you can borrow a meter from someone

What ballast are you running?

I'm running Lumatek eballasts @ 400w setting.

You never know what a bulb will do when over driven. The 400 watt Radium is actually a 360 watt bulb. Most people have no issues running this bulb on 400 watt E-ballasts, but you are still over driving it, and it creates an unknown with how the bulb will react.
