I'm resealing a 120 gallon aquarium and I was curious if anyone knows or has used Dap 08642 Dow Corning Black Silicone Sealant and can say 100% that it is aquarium safe? It says is meets FDA approval for use in food containers but I don't want to cheap out and have a problem later on down the road. Thank you in advance for the assistance.

you can tell by the curing agent used...if ammonia/alcohol then yes, if some sort of solvent oil based then not..I would figure on safe being it is labeled food safe.

if your going to order silicone why not order stuff you know is good to use...RTV103 or SCS1200...

for the stuff you posted a MSDS sheet would be much better to look at then an ad on amazon...but from what you have posted i am sure it is fine as long as there is no mold inhibitors in it.
