I believe DD had a bit of an OOPS todays and this is an acropora that has yet to branch not an encrusting montipora What do you think?

looks similar ,it had that brown tone until it started to grow vertically
old pics were really crappy here is a newer on under leds
still working on my picture taking abilities

Isn't the main difference between acros & montiporas raised vs flush or recessed coralites?.

Isn't the main difference between acros & montiporas raised vs flush or recessed coralites?.
Both can have raised coralites, Acropora will be scale shaped. Montipora will have septa in two cycle with inward teeth.
