I have 2 foxface's. 1 of them has some fairly extensive fin damage and some on its skin from fighting several months ago (e.g. 6-8 months or so). He eats fine, swims fine, gets along with everyone now fine, etc, but there has not been any visible fin repair over the last several months.

I do have a separate QT tank that will be empty later today so am considering moving him over to medicate him for a couple weeks+. Should I do this or should I let him repair over time in the DT since he has been fine?

If I do move him over to QT, what is my best medication route and length of time to keep him in there?

As long as there is no infection, I'm not sure it's necessary to move the fish. It could be that the fin damage is permanent. As long as your water quality is ok in the DT, I'd lean toward leaving him there.

What medication were you thinking of using?

That was going to be my next question :)

I will leave him be then. No point in unnecessarily stressing him out.
