question about lights out?

i want to do a three day black out in my tank to get rid of most of the cyano, but i have chaeto? will this kill it?

dont think so. but let someone else chime on it. i dont have no experience with chaeto

Do you have chaeto in you sump with a separate light for it? Also do you cayno in your sump with the chaeto?

It should be ok, sometimes I forget to turn my sump light on...the chaeto seems fine.

well i dont have a sump. no room for one, i have it in the back chambers of my aquapod... anyone else have an opinion

ive done this twice in the last 2 months and have had no problems. seems to work well but not the complete solution to getting rid of cyano.. i feel like its endless for me

Block off / add light so only the back chamber (with your cheeto) gets light for your 3day lights out. Cheeto does great with any light bulb so doesnt have to be fancy.
