So, my wife asked me to get another tank to house a YWG that was being picked on in the main DT. She thought he was getting lonely in the QT down in the basement :D
So I was able to get a 18"X18"X18" rimless cube. My idea is to put it upstairs and plumb it into the existing system via the basement sump. My return pump is big enough to supply it via a manifold already in place and my sump won't have any issues handling the extra power outage water. My dilemma is do I go with a herbie again (as is my main tank) or a coast to coast bean animal. The cons for each: with the herbie I lose precious interior foot print with the overflow, but with the coast to coast I'm not sure I should be drilling 4 holes (3 for the drains and 1 return) in an 18" panel. Any thoughts or experience on these types of drains and cubes?
