Aquaclear filter inserts questions

Hey guys I got a 46 g bowfront , 9 small fish crabs snails shrimp anemones stars, was wondering what inserts u recommend, I have a 110 n 2 50s running currently all with foam,carbon, biomax. Oo I have 50 lbs of livesand n 50 lbs of live rock.

Get rid of the sponges, just put in carbon and load some cheato with a cheapy clamp on light for the chaeto.

You could also consider replacing the 2 50's with a HoB skimmer.

I have used AC's in the past. I would just use two AC110's. take everything out. put a large carbon and phosgarde bag in each, then place sponge on top. will work great. I've done this on 5.5g and 20g tanks. worked like a charm. i would replace carbon/phosg once a month and just clean out large sponges under hot water.
