Anyone using these;

I have my upgrade running and had a heater incident that caused the tank to heat to 86.4 (rkl wasn't set right) my sump (150g) is in the garage and it felt like the tropics, my media room has the 172g open top (currently) also had high humidity.

Thinking about installing one by the sump system and possibly in the media room, but curious how well they work.

Seems to me an extra 180-250 each is a small price to pay to keep the sea air off the cars and tools and mold out of the media room but don't want to waste the moneyor my labor/time either.

In regards to the RKL;

I set it to a temp of 78 and came home to the 86, anyone have this issue, where it doesn't work properly or was it just a fluke, reset to default, reprogrammed and it appears okay now, we'll see over the next couple of days.

FYI no corals or fish in this tank so no animals harmed

Thanks for any input

If you go to the Hydroponic stores, I saw a bunch of different options for humidity sensors.
