I'd be careful with 6 year old sand, it could be majorly septic so if you stir it up you may have a problem. Ever hear of old tank syndrome? It's often caused by septic sand and clogged LR. I'd ditch it and give the fuge a good cleaning.

i would shut off all circulation, take the sand out and dump it, get all the remaining water out and rinse out with RO/DI water, add new fresh sand, add saltwater back and turn circulation back on. In that order :)

+1. If your gonna clean, be safe about it. Stirring up a DSB that is old can be bad news.

Should I do other deep sand bed

you mean should you clean the DSB in your main tank?? - I wouldn't

Or do you mean; should you replace the fuge with another DSB once it's clean?? -- I would
