What kind of light is it that makes the coral glow in the dark? Is it a black light or moon light? If so do they make them in a t5 bulb? What are they called and who sells them? I have a 4' tank and would like a 4' bulb.

I use my blue LEDs for moonlight effect which brings out the neon type colors in corals.

Do they make a 4' strip for blue only?

If you really want the glowing look, go for the shortest wavelength of blue LEDs you can get. 420nm or shorter. You really only need a few to get the effect you are looking for.

The R2 Extreme moonlight does a really good job at it

Yeah, it doesn't take that many to cover the entire tank...needless to say it doesn't have to span 4'. I would try what sponger0 recommended...they seem to be fairly cheap for a nice look. Just reading the description it looks like the double pack covers a 6' aquarium

I had a single one over my Biocube 29 and it lit it pretty well. 2 of them would cover a 4 foot tank easily.

Just ordered the double.

Thanks for the help.
