Had this tank up and running maybe two months, wanted to add a refugium without breaking the bank.I read some threads about the noisy air pumps and adding powerheads or pumps to these boxes and knew there had to be a better way. What i decided to do was place a Marina hang on box next to my aquaclear filter and run a siphon tube from the powerfilter to the Marina box.It works!,It actually seems to have pretty good flow seeing the powerfilter sits slightly higher than the Marina hang on box.I could easily double the flow by just adding one more siphon hose if i wanted.Next i just gotta add some sand and Cheato,Can't wait!

How does the flow look to you guys, looks good to me but what do i know,It's my first tank.

Looks good. I used a AC10 ph and a piece of hose for mine, its quiet and the AC10 has a flow adjustment

Is the Ac110 the Fuge or do you use another box?..I almost went with an Ac110 but Didn't want to spend almost 100 bucks.

haha thats cool. I have thought about buying a HOB fuge from CPR for years. What tubing did you use for the syphon?

It's 1/2" vinyl tubing, preveously used for beer brewing.
