Is it best to make 2 different heater outlets or make 1 heater outlet and have the heaters plugged into a power strip and the strip plugged into the Apex?

I always separate the heaters onto 2 outlets. And program them to kick on and off in .5 degree increments.

I have mine on two outlets. There would be no way to vary the temperatures on each heater with both of them plugged into the same controller outlet. I use a RKL, but the theory is the same.

I plan on having two heaters on two outlets because I have extra outlets. One will be on my EB8 (main) and the back up will be on my DC8. Obviously, the back up will be set .5-1 degree difference, which in theory should never turn on as the main (150w) should be able to handle things.

In order of preference:

2 temp probes, 2 outlets
1 temp probe, 2 outlets
1 temp probe, 1 outlet
