So I am getting ready to setup my first SW tank(been successful in FW for years). I am taking it slow, just have the tank cleaned out and started collecting what I need. This will be a reef tank(looking at mostly softies) and semi aggressive.

Here is my current stocking idea for the 75 gallon from order of first to last added:

1 or 2 Clarkii Clownfish(Do these do fine as single or are they happier as a pair?)
1 Kole Tang
1 Dwarf Zebra Lionfish(This is a must, my wifes favorite fish and half the reason she is ok with me starting up a sw!)

That's all I have for now the lionfish will be the LAST fish added no matter what and will be about a year later(again taking this slow).

With those in mind I would like to add something else after or before the tang if possible. I'm thinking something for the bottom like a midas blenny(kinda worry about the lionfish with it) or maybe a bi-color goatfish(how much havoc do these wreak on snails?). I also like the look of a marine betta.

i personally like the firefish. it is a very peaceful fish. http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTBp9vOR5MbFSfoZtmskDE0k-imuv6GjFOoTh_jOL-RR5l6mLBsqw4icx4u

They are nice but look like lion fish lunch :hmm2:

I have read it, which is why i'm trying one of the larger breeds of clowns and introducing it first and smaller lion last. I have read quite a few success stories going about it that way.

Ah. I see. Yes, i've read of some folks doing it that way, adding the small fish first. :)
