Well wondering what units you guys use for your Ro-Di water. I use the water general 6 stage 100gpd unit and it is time to replace the media ..anyone have this unit ? will only water general media work or can i use others?

I'm using the 100gpd Aquatic Life powered RO/DI. It is actully making approx 200 gpd. I actually love this thing.

I have an old WG unit but the only thing left from that is the DI cartridges and the metal plate. The membrane is a SpectraPure 98% and greater membrane, and pre-filters from BFS and BRS and DI from SpectraPure.

The filters and membrane are standard ones. No matter what else you do, get the high rejection membrane from SP, in old house incoming tds was about 300 and it took it to 1 before the DI, new house has a tds of 230 and it takes it to 0-1 before the DI. I also get better life out of SP's DI resin.

i used to have a WG unit when I first started out in the hobby till the canisters cracked and water was everywhere the only thing I have left from it is the reserve tank. now I run a purelyh20 optima pro unit with a dual DI add on from BRS much better built and the clear canisters are much stronger.
