Temperature range

What range do you allow the temperature to fluctuate in? Currently, I have the range set between 79.5 and 80.0 F, and I was wondering if that was greater or less than what yall are currently running... Is there any possible detriment by tightening up the range?

Sounds perfect. I like range because the ocean isn't constant. I go from 78-81. Still experimenting, but I think everyone likes it on the warm side.

My tank runs 77.5 to 78.5, before I got my Apex it was 78 to 83.

Mine goes from 77.5 to about 81.5

The heater comes on at 78, and turns off at 79. In the summer, it occasionally gets up to 81. I don't run a chiller at all since switching to LEDs, and I have no problem with it getting up to the low 80's.
