I am getting some trouble code when i try to update my apex jr. This is what i am seeing, "the uploader was unable to locate a valid ARP entry which on some systems may need to be created by the user. please re-run the uploader using the command-line option 'noarp' for further instructions."

I am using a macbook pro and have the apex plug directly into my router. I am horrible with networking so any step by step info will help out a lot. I think the apex is stuck in some sort of "boot" mode. thanks

That sounds as if you're using the Windows version of the updater. On a Mac, you should be using the Mac version.

not using a window version, i have used this mac version before. After i tried to update it and it stopped in the middle the apex won't work anymore.

The error message sounds like quite an old version of the Mac updater; it looked like a Windows program when it ran. If so, have you tried the most current Mac updater, from the Support section of Neptune's site?
