Hello to all...

I have a Spiny Box Puffer,(Burrfish) he has been in 20g qt scince Feb 29. He eats like a monster, also very active. He does have the caved in stomach and fecal matter is white, looks like pearl necklace. Sometimes little brown/ tannish balls of fecal. Nothing is hanging from his anal vent. I have treated the tank with AP general cure powder (250 mg Metro & 75mg Prazi) per packet for 10g of water. I have put on shrimp for 5 days a few different times. Also used Prazipro at a seperate time. The fecal is still the same after all these treatments.

Im working on getting Praziquantel to treat the food and tank.

Any idea if it is a IP?

If so what type?

Thanks

May have mis-understood the post. Praziquantel is the ingredient in PP. Internal worms usually need more than one round of PP.

From my reading prazipro doesnt really work well if it is IP. The pure powder praz works better when put on food or given internally. The burrfish has been thru 2 treatments of prazipro also. Thanks
