We had 5 tangs with what we thought was ich. We have lost 4 and 1 is hanging on (LFS treating w/ copper now)

Now our clownfish have something on them. Ich? Something else? Ich + something else?

HELP!!

Looks like Brook. Probably took out your tangs as well.

How do you treat? And can it be done I the DT or QT time needed?

Best to read this. (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135372) Brook is very quickly lethal.

I agree, 99% sure it is brooklynella. this is nasty stuff and very common with wild clownfish. IMO, this kind of stuff is the biggest reason to use a QT on all new fish; it can wipe out a tank before you can treat it.
