When I got it I had just done a water change. I wanted to see how far I could push my tank so I went a month without water changes. The acro flourished and looked great. Nitrates stayed low. After the one month mark I decided to do a water change to replenish race elements. After the water change I began to notice it was bleaching at the tips. I don't have an alk test(yeah I know) so I wander sure what it was. I'm assuming that the water change caused a sudden change in alk which upset the acro.

Current params
Alk- 11(Lfs tested it with salifert)
SG- 1.025
Nitrates- 5

So what should I do? I'm losing about 1mm a day on the tips. Please help!

Also, it's 5" under a 4 bulb t5 fixture.

Not alk burns. Quit pushing it. Change some waater and get your water quality back where it belongs.
