Adhering HDPE for a BB tank...

So I have a sheet of 3/8" black HDPE that I will be using in my new BB nano, and I know it floats well, so it should be adhered to the bottom. Do I just use aquarium silicone adhesive?

Seems like a simple question, but I know that HDPE can be a bit hard to glue...

Just let the rock hold it down. Don't glue it. Silicone doesn't work well at all unless you put it on top adhered to the glass to physically hold it down. That's pretty ugly.

I was under the impression it floats too well to rely on the rock?

I never had a problem once the rock was on it. I've always done it in bigger tanks though.

Yeah, I'll likely have only about 20lbs of rock over a 18" x 14" area...
