I use coral rx. Follow the directions on the lable.
However I do suspect I lost a four head dendro frag to this stuff. I dipped the frag for about 10a minutes I rinsed it with saltwater from my aquarium and the next day it melted. It looked really nice at the store I suspect maybe I accidentally put to much coral RX. I never had this happened before.

also thin skin or deepwater sps do NOT do well with dip.

yes i remember a while back this was mentioned after ffm that some sps will die if dipped . so i guess its dip every dip-able coral.

So how do you know which corals are not dippable? And what do you do with them to prevent pests?

good question sounds like a sticky list would be a good idea for such corals.

Definitely a good idea. Otherwise I will be the guy who loses a bunch of high end corals that aren't supposed to be dipped

any deep water corals like ice fire or red dragon will die if you dip them so you qt them and make sure you dont add anything to your dt. iodine is a good dip most dips you buy from the store has iodine in them. but you got to be careful because aefw and isopods dont die from dips so qt and watch really careful imo
