Lucky, you got baby shrimp :) Mine spawned but I don't think any made it. Some made it to the refugium section of my sump, but unfortunately for them I was raising some fish fry in there at the same time.

What kind of shrimp do you have in your tank?

Could be cleaner/peppermint/fire shrimp larvae, assuming you have two individuals of one of those types of shrimp. When one is carrying eggs you can see it, their underside where they normall fold up their swimmerettes gets full of a large glob of tiny yellow dots (kind of looks like part of their abdomen if you weren't used to seeing them without eggs).

The larvae are difficult to raise (several planktonic stages, etc), you won't be finding baby shrimp resembling adults in the tank.

Here's a good article on peppermint shrimp. I'm assuming it would pretty much be the same for both a cleaner & fire shrimp when it comes down to breeding.

Thanks for that link. Interesting, but it dissuaded me from trying to breed and raise my Sexy Shrimp. Too much work and $$. At least the young from my Peppermints, Cleaners and Sexy Shrimp are good live food for other stuff.

yea I think I even wiped the dust off the camera on the phone before I took them lol Nothing a Iphone cant do I guess.

My clowns I think paired up quickly, they show all the signs that there past the sex determination and are trying to mate I think, I may get a video of the fluttering, nipping and chasing, I recently moved everything to this bio cube from another tank and they cant find a happy place for them as they was hosting the corner of a bare bottom 10 gal for a couple weeks, now they got the sand cleared down to the glass in the same corner but dont seemed pleased with it, I am really thinking about putting a couple small clay pots in to see if they will host one and see if anything further happens.

ones way bigger than other and shows that she is the BOSS of the tank, they was about 4/5 of them in the tank at LFS all looked good so I picked biggest 2

I really haven't done anything but water changes, and I let the live rock cycle its self with ammonia & nitrites completely gone with nitrates nearly gone, then started adding a small cuc, week later 2 fish, then about another week I added the 2 shrimp.

been keeping salinity at about 1.025ish

also have a couple sea squirts and other filter feeders that come out and feed on a regular basis.
