I have a couple of clear ricordea/anemone looking things in my tank. They really only come out at night and have me wondering. Any ideas? Pics are hard to get since they're only out late.

That's what the flash on your camera is for! Seriously though, I'd love to help but it's almost impossible to tell based on your description and no pic.

Corynactis(Strawberry Anemone) maybe? Look here about 2/3 down the page.

That's it! Good call. Why does it say watch them, do they sting?

They aren't a problem IMO. The ones I've seen seem to stay tucked away in crevices and not bother anything.

Yes they sting, just not as bad as majano or aiptasia. I started with one in my tank that I missed and not quite a year later I have over 20 that I can count. They love to get in with my zoas and irritate the crud out of them so they don't open. I haven't managed to kill any yet, just irritated them with lemon juice once and kalk once. Sometimes it's enough to make them move to a hidden spot with no corals, other times not so much.
