Now that I got your attention. I have to use a CPAP machine and have been purchasing Distilled water for a while. But was thinking a couple of days ago. Could I not use RO/DI water instead? I know people that use bottled water when traveling because it is mostly RO and better than tap.

Just thinking that if the RO/DI water is completely stripped of everything then why not.

CPAP= Continous Positive Airway Pressure. It helps keep your airway open while you sleep to help prevent sleep apnea(stop breathing while sleeping).

RO/DI should be fine, but make sure the TDS is 0.

I normally only use the water at home. When I go camping with the Boy Scouts. I normally don't use the water as the tube is not heated and condensates and starts to gurgle, that's an eerie feeling.I also carry a car battery to power it on 12vdc.

The concern I might have would be sterility. You can't always count on RODI to be sterile in the medical sense. A 0.2um filter at the very end after the DI would make me feel a little better.
