I was watching my emerald crab eat some bubble algae and noticed what look like little parasites crawling all over it. I would guess there are 15-20 but maybe more. They are super tiny. At first glance I thought they might be redbugs but I have been staring at all my SPS for the last 30 minutes and I don't see anything. I had redbugs about 16-18 months ago and could clearly see them on my SPS before I treated the tank and haven't seen anything on my coral since. I suppose they could be pods but not sure. They move really fast. Does this sound normal?

There is no way I could get pix without some crazy zoom macro lens. They are far too small. I can't believe I even noticed them.

Yeah...they are pods...just hanging on for protection. Is your emerald getting pretty big?

Probably copepods and/or isopods.

Your crab has pods...:eek1:
I suggest a curfew & possibly "the talk" too.
