sump/refuge question

So I picked up a 55gal tank to make into a sump/refuge today, but once I got it home I measured the tank and its 21" tall and the space below my tank if I leave the braces where they are is 23", but I could raise the braces up some and get upto 25" until the bottom of my tank. My question is... Do I have enough room for lights? or is the stand going to have to be rebuilt and made taller? I still have to get all my plumping in there and everything? So any ideas what I should do?

Just depends on the type of lighting u are trying to use. U should be fine with a nice led light

Putting a skimmer could be a problem ....maintenance wise could be a pain. And drain pipe, return pipe may be to tight

That is just not enough space, maintenance is going to be a nightmare.
