I have been having a problem with coral death only lost 2 so far but all my corals look excellent water conditions are perfect. i also checked my sock to see if it was catching anything and it hasn't. but once every 2 weeks or so a coral starts dying back, its isnt more than one at a time. i broke one of the skeletons apart and found a couple small red bugs crawling around not cope pods or any lipid or little bug i have seen before. i know im being a little vague but if anyone has any ideas im all ears. and if u need any more info just ask me.

There are various coral diseases and predators. You might want to ask in one of the various coral forums. There's a specific "red bug" that shows up on Acropora and similar corals, for example.

acro's are what im losing i broke out the microscope and put smashed a dead part onto the slide, i found an oval shaped bug clear with maroon/brown spots inside or on top of them and looks like they have a tentical on front and back on some i think.... they look like they are eating the flesh that ended up on the slide. should narrow it down a bit.
