anyone try these yet. I bought them and like the color but would like to see if anyone with a par meter has them to see some readings?

hows the color compare to the Phoenix 14k blub

We've put a Phoenix and Iris bulb side by side and the color is very similar. We have some spectral charts that we will post later today.

real close to the 14k phoenix visually a little bit of a brighter white than the phoenix but not by much. cant wait to the the spectral charts

Correct ballast for the 250W Mogul bulb?

scchase- Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. The best ballast for the mogul based bulb would be an M58, but any 250w electronic ballast will work great!

Just received these bulbs. Very nice color to them, nice crisp white with some blue. I was using AB 20k before. I think they have more blue than my old AB 20k. Although the AB 20K are a year old and the spectrum has changed. We will see in the long run how they turn out with growth and longevity.
