I know this is mostly build threads in here, but I think this problem is pretty unique to large tanks, so I wanted to discuss it and see what other people are doing to manage humidity and evap with their big tanks.
Anyone running a mostly sealed hood? I'm thinking clear acrylic with inlet vents to bring in fresh air, but that has an always on fan that vents outdoors (looking at radon mitigation fans). so that lighting can be hung above it easily, and there would be enough space for air exchange.
I know there is a serious amount of gas exchange going on with surface agitation, but is something like this feasible to keep moisture/humidity at bay?
