Tunze 9002 Skimmer

How would this skimmer be for my 40 gallon breeder?

I have a 10 gal tank and a 20 gal long, i will use one for sump/fuge and the other for QT...not sure which tank to use for which and if this Tonze 9002 skimmer is a good one for my tank.

Some say depends if it is heavily stocked, does that mean corals and fish?

I also have the coralife skimmer 65 in mind but I think this Tunze is more of a fan favorite.

the tunze is a fan favorite, for much smaller tanks. it cannot properly handle a moderately stocked 40 breeder. it is a very small skimmer. the coralife is not a very good skimmer but for a tank that size it would still be better. although the obvious best thing to do would be buy a good quality skimmer that is also the right size.

stocked meaning fish only or fish and coral combo?

What about the Octopus 4 ? I can't afford to pay 200 right now for one...btw what would be the right size for one?
