After many months, I've just finished my diy LED setup for my 120 gallon (2 x 2 x 4) reef tank. I have finished all the "day lights" and am using the DIM4 controller so I have a channel or two available for night lights (4 LEDs per channel).
I haven't seen much discussion (if I missed it, send me the link) about what lights, if any, are good for the night. Will having lights on at night help or hurt the fish/corals ? What colors might you recommend ? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Each of the available two channels on the DIMM4 powers 4 LEDs at 500mA.
