Recently I have done a complete rescaping of my tank. I took out everything from my DT including the sand bed before I do the scaping. Once completed the rescaping, I decide to use new RODI water for my tank and cycle it for 5-6 weeks (since I used tap water during initial setup of the tank 5 years ago). The sand bed in DT is also new except for the refugium DSB is the from original setup.
It is currently third week of cycling and im dosing microbac7 (brightwell) according to the dosage recommended. Ive dosed CorallineGro by Red Sea double the recommended dose during first week of cycling. The photoperiod are actinic blue for 8 hours per day and white daylight for 2 hours per day (both are LED). There are lots of hair algae bloom on the rock and sand bed.
Can someone experience advice me if im on the right track? Is the algae bloom normal during cycling?
I’ve read an article yesterday suggesting that there should not be any lights during the first 6 weeks of cycling. Will this work?

Following are the setup profile
Tank Volume: 700g
Photoperiod : Blue Actinic (8 hrs/ day). Daylight white (2 hrs/day)
Skimmer: Running continuously
Kalkwasser dosing via ATO
GAC placed @ high flow area in sump
Rowaphos 500g in FR
Chiller maintain at 26-27°C
Tunze Wavemaker/ Wavebox on for 24/7
Return Pump: 4 x Ehiem 1264

Thank you in advance for your comment / advice.
