View Full Version : whats the best way to get rid of marine velvet in a reef tank

hi... i think i have marine velvet in my 65gal reef tank and i cant treat with a hospital tank cause all of my equipment for it including the tank has been broken because of my dog.

i cant find any reef safe meds for it so i was wondering if there is any other way to do it

The two treatments are formalin or copper, neither of which are reef safe. A fresh water dip may keep your fish alive long enough for treatment to work.
