I have a tank at work that at times is difficult to get time to test the water parameters while I am at work. Does anyone know if there is an issue taking the test tubes of tank water home and doing the testing there? Will I get accurate readings if the water temp fluctuates and other conditions change during the drive from work to home?

For the big three (calcium, alkalinity, magnesium) you will get a good reading. pH not so much, it will likely change on you between work and home. But it's not so important as long as alkalinity is good. Things like nitrate and phosphate should be fine to take home and test.
