Hey everybody just wanted to say I have been enjoying all the great info on here and it's great to be part of the forum. I just recently started my first tank a Innovative marine Micro 30. I have had it going for about 2 weeks now and should be able to start adding livestock here in a week or so. My parameters are pretty good except my Ammonia is just above 0 and waiting for it to drop.

I had a diatom outbreak in my tank almost a week ago and got a cleaning crew after that. I have 20 Astrea snails, 1 conch snail and 5 hermit crabs. Just the other day I got home and had copepods all over my tank so I am trying to figure something out for a refugium that I can hopefully save some for my fish to eat.

Look forward to talking to some of you.

I appreciate the support. I will keep posting pics as I add things to the tank. I also forgot to mention that I have multiple muscles/clams and a pin cushion sea urchin that came on my LR. Also have a bunch of feather dusters and bristle worms.

First of all, welcome to the forum.

Looks like your tank is maturing nicely

I also forgot to mention that I have multiple muscles
I also used to have multiple muscles but then I let myself go.

Looks good. Best advice I can give is try to give yourself a little more space inbetween the rock and glass for glass cleaning purposes.

I have to agree with you there. Once I added my conch snail I had to move it all away so he could actually move around the whole tank. It is still close in some spots, but not bad. I picked up myself a Two Little Fishes mag cleaner and it's great, but my tank is almost to big for a cleaner that small.
