Is this possible?

I do believe it is possible but i would highly not recommend it. Hypo puts the fish in enough stress and adding more meds could be the breaking point. I would wait unit you are finished with hypo before medicating. Hope that helps, Wiz.

Ok the point was to get peoples attention as I cant get any kind of response on a thread I posted 6 hours ago and I know someone on here has an opinion or some experience.

How do you treat an angel with ich and a swelling eye in hypo?

The Hypo will treat the ich, the swollen eye probably aleviate after the ich is gone.

Can I ask how ich would cause a swollen eye?

They both appeared at the same time. Tested for ammonia and saw none.

Secondary infection due to a parasitic wound.

Hmmmm ok. That sounds logical. Now when should I see relief from the swelling just in case to keep my eyes open for something else?

If your currently in Hypo there is nothing you will be able to do for any other issue that may come up. So I would only worry about the hypo for now, which should take care of most parasitic issues.

I've seen fish with pop-eye never recover completely, but how long it takes to heal will vary with the fish.

usually 3-4 weeks on the pop-eye, or it could just burst all together... won't really affect the fish. If it has it in 2 eyes, and they both burst...the fish will most likely die.
