Just got a 185 gallon tank for my reef. Am upgrading from a 90 gallon. First thing I'm doing is using 160 lbs of sand from Marcorocks. Once I get it into the house pictures will follow on throughout my setup and transfer of fish and coral.

Nice! Can you give us some more info about the tank?

As of right now just a tank and atand. The rest is coming from the 90 gallon. Slowly piecing this together. I really want to build a pre dump catch that filters through feather dusters before it hits the sump and filtration.

Well just got the shipment of 160lbs of bahama aragonite sand from Marcorocks.com and picked the tank up tonight! whew what work. no sump and am going to build one w small tanks instead of a large 55 so i can do a refugium and all. contemplating about sand and water up to below the overflow line so at least it can be ready and settle down by the time i have a sump...... not sure tho pics to follow just need to get a way to get em on here

just put in the down pipes and the return piping, next paycheck ill be buying a second 29 gal for the sump and have both 29 gal hooked together through bulkheads. THe second 29 gal will be a refugium and the return. As of today all i have left to buy is the second 29 gal and the return pump. can't wait to finish and have this operating.. at the latest the tank should be fully functional by the 15th of aug at the latest. only thing i might not have is lighting but looks like i might have that too. we will see :)

I love this tank! Do they still make these for purchase? Never saw a 180 gallon bow. Beautiful man. Looking forward to watching it get pieced together. Good luck

Soon to post pics. Finally got everything settled and I will tell you that the tank is looking great. Have a dragon goby, yellow Indonesian tang, and Sailfin tang, Kenya tree and devils hand in it
