I have a mp-10 in a 20 high. I hate it. With the exception of the low profile, Im not thrilled. It is enough flow. But I wish I went with aimable heads instead. Actually braking it down next week, can't wait to sell it.

I run mine on my 40 only half way and it is great

Yup, plenty of flow.

jgraz. Did you just put it in the tank and call it good? You don't need to aim a vortech, you just need to place it right.

i have it in my 25g. you dont need to aim these.. you get flow throughout the whole tank from the undertow and from it hitting the opposite wall

Agreed. Not sure what other people are doing, but I have mine in a 20H and it has made everything better. Makes the skimmer run more efficiently because it moves allll the water. It single handedly replaced 3 different dirsctional pumps I had cluttering the tank previously.

Have the MP10 on my 20H and I LOVE it! You can not go wrong with this pump IMO.

I use it in a 36g cube.
It can get the water COOKIN.
MP10 beats any 'aimable' powerhead hands down.

Running an MP10 in my 29 biocube mostly SPS and they love it. Not sure what others are saying on here. I've had just about all of the cheaper powerheads and wouldn't go back again to any of them.
