So what do you guys think of this setup...

40B Gal, 20L Gal Sump/Fuge.

I WANT to have a herbie system but i can't find anyone that is making/selling an overflow box with 2 drains so it seems I am stuck with a 1 drain and 1 return setup. Will this make noise as it will be in my bedroom?

My tank will be on a 38" stand.

I will have a 700gph glass-holes overflow box that has a 1.5" drain, with a 3/4" return with a Y split locline head.

I wil have an Eheim Compact Series 2000 or 3000 return pump for this, which do you guys recommend?

Than I am planning on having my sump on the right with 3 baffles, the return pump in the middle, with the fuge on the left that will contain chaeto, LR, my heater, and possibly LS.

Will a 150W heater be enough for this tank or should i get 2 100w Heaters instead?

Should I connect my return line to a T pvc that will send water with a ball valve to the fuge or should i have the T come from the drain?

I am itching to order my parts I am just stuck because of this damn overflow box issue that i can't find anyone to help me out with.

PS: I found an Eheim compact 2000 for about $15 less than the site, do you guys think this is fake?

there is always noise.

For the pump it depends how much flow you want from the return pump...

Heating depends on the location.... do you live in alaska? then I recomend two.

T should come from the drain

Its not fake

I would go with a bigger sump.

What about a skimmer?

My 40 breeder has a 150 and 200 watt heater.

I'm going to get the SCA 301 skimmer.

Bean animal is an overkill I tink.
