It have been few years and now I finally got my RO/DI hooked back up again to be used for my FW planted tank. Sorry no reef yet :-P

My unit has dual TDS meters and a booster pump hooked up. Well water gives me very low pressure - around 30 psi. With booster pump, I have it set for ~70 psi :)

I just have replaced my filters but not the resin and got the following readings:
Well water TDS: 152
Between filters and resin (carbon): 157
Water out from resin: 0

So, my question is what is going on? When will the water coming out from brand new filters will start lowering compared to input from well water??

I've attached a picture of my set up... It is as it is currently during testing phase before I'll add in coil in the tubing to warm water up prior going into the unit. If any other suggestions, do tell! LOL.

Correction: I don't have resin! What I have is...
5, 01, and 0.6 micron filters. So it's between RO membrane and the filters.
No DI resin in my system at all. Sorry for the mix up. I fooked up.

you won't get much of a TDS drop till after the membrane if you haven't changed the membrane I suggest doing so. if it is a brand new membrane and your not getting hardly any TDS drop after it then I would think it isn't seated properly.

How long has the unit been running since new filters? Sometimes it needs to be ran in order to "cycle" itself to clean 0 tds water.

Unit have been running maybe close to 10 hours now?
TDS readings are as following as of now...
Well Water: 147
Btw Filters and RO: 147
After RO: 0

So I guess the membrane is still good and working as it is supposed to eh?
