just got back from vacation and this is everywhere, theres a few spots just like it that are purple but not as much as these white ones, also they are hard and i have to scrape them in order to get em off.

anyone know what it is? im assuming corraline because i can see the bits of purple corraline on the glass as well

It can be white but that also means it is dead. Looks like those could be snail eggs

Doesn't look like coraline to me. You'll notice it really take off but you'll notice random pink spots first.

Im starting to see a very small amount of pink spots. Thers only 1 pretty big snail in my tank right now. Those spots are everywhere, are snail eggs hard? Because these ones feel like barnackles or something like that

i notice coraline will turn white before corals grow over it..im assuming that it dies when its white or bleached out.

can the white spots be small feather dusters? i have some growing on the glass also

Those white dots on the glass are probably spirorbid worms. (harmless)

I agree sounds like spirorbid worms. Scrape em off the places you don't want them (like viewing panes). Otherwise you can leave them be.

+1 I went through a short period with a huge increase in those. They will find balance. Definitely scrape off the ones on your glass though. They are supposed to be a sign that your tank is thriving. If you google-image on spirorbid worms you will see a ton of pics just like yours.

when my purple coralline turns white, its usually because its dead or it died off. Maybe bleach because in a few weeks its purple again.

what are your calcium and alkalinity levels? From my experience, coralline does turn white, but only when its dead or dying.

I agree...either some type of worm/feather duster or snail eggs. I was originally thinking it could be calcium buildup.
