Marion county in the state of Indiana has declared a drought. If you are caught watering you lawn you will be fined $100 first time and more afterwards. Is it still ok to use 4 gallons of water to produce 1 gallon of ro that is approved to be sent to the Di filter who's left overs are dumped in the local landfill. Just make sure your not wasting water

Are you asking a question or making a statement?
The cops will not know you are making RO water.
If you are concerned about the waste water, collect it and use it to water your lawn or whatever. If they bug you, tell them it's the waste water from your drinking water filter.
