Mine use to move a little and then sometimes detach. Everytime they moved, a baby would be left behind. I sort of hated it after a while, but they were easy to sell off and trade.

Best is to keep cutting them off and eventually they will be gone from sight. However they are just like weeds. They pop back up. Check out my photos of before and after shroom cutting.

they spread like the plague. I'll never own mushrooms again. :-)

I can't get my shrooms to spread. I have some nice orange mushrooms and a few of the blue ones... Won't spread for anything... It's been a year... They stay about the same size and never detach or move or split. :(

Interesting how some people don't want mushrooms and xenia to multiply, but when mine did I was happy. Saves a lot of money over having to buy them
