Need help choosing between these two tanks, like pros and cons. Also if you have any other all in one tanks you have in mind that might be better. Thanks!

I am in the market for a similar size. All things being equal, I would go with the nano with CF. The heat waste (chiller) and cost of electricity on a nano are major players to me.

I would spend a little more and get the LED nano cube. All of them are great tanks, but the LED will run cooler, thus have less heat issues. The LEDs will also be less maintenance. I have a Biocube 14, which I ended up upgrading to LED lighting, because EVERYONE at some point wants to try higher light demanding corals. The HQI will grow anything, but temperature control will be a challenge. What is your experience with the hobby and what do you envision for the tank?

I have a JBJ HQI i like it alot i can grow just about any coral no problem.. I think if you get a cf you are going to have some trouble growing sps. i second the guy that said save a little more and go with LEDs. The only issue with HQI is heat issues during summer you dont have to spend a ton of money on a chiller i just use a walmart clip on fan and it keeps mine at 78-79. But its totally up to you and your desires in a tank. If i was going to do it all over again i would upgrade to a bigger tank and buy all parts seperate (you always want to upgrade down the road) You will end up buying one of these ALL in ONE tanks and end up upgrading every part on it anyways. So save some money and just get a 40g breeder and buy parts to build your own bad A** tank Just my 2 cents on this.

Well the thing is that I'm only 14 and don't have a job so it's going to take me four times as long to even get a tank.

see if you can find either used. Let someone else take the initial cost for you because people are always upgrading or leaving the hobby. Then get a led retro kit for about 200 and keep anything everything. No rush.

I have looked for a used tank but no one seems to be selling one unless there a million miles away from me in a different state.
