Hi everyone,
I have a 90g with a Coralife fixture. It has 2 150W Halides and 2 96W PC. The lights are great, but are a bit too bright for the family room when watching TV. Here are my questions:
1. Can this fixture be mounted somehow in a canopy?
2. If not, any suggestions on how to reduce the extra light? Can the ballasts be used with a DIY if I decided to go that route?
3. If I went DIY - should I stick to MH or go LEDs? (no sps in the tank)
4. How much would making a retrofit cost and how difficult would it be? (I am not handy at all and have no idea what parts I would need)
Thanks in advance!
