Been looking for this stuff and can not find it in my walmart so I looked on thier site and they have it on the site but it is $25 for 16oz (pack of 6) shipping weight 1lb. I thought this stuff was like $1 or something stupid, or, did I just not pay attention to the pricing in past posts?

Very odd? There must be a lot of reefers in the area because I saw the canning jars but there was no pickling lime, at any stores in the area!? I will check tomorrow, thanks.

pickling lime is kalkwasser. its used in reef to provide equal amounts of calcium and alkalinity along with increase in pH. most people mix it in ATO water for slow introduction as its can only mix so much in water rest is a waste and can increase ph levels to danger.

Yea, you look like a softie guy. I want a few milliporas and have had a hankering for a purple tort for a while so I thought I would give it a try even though I am a softie guy too.

It's $3.90 on the Mrs. Wages site: http://store.mrswagesstore.com/mrswagpiclim.html

By the way, the Walmart price is $25.20 for a pack of six 16 oz packages, so that's $4.20 per pound.

I was wondering about that but I also see/saw the same individual packs for pickle "seasoning" in the store individually (and not in a 6 pack) and was thinking "are they individual or what?" when looking on the web site. Either way, no go at the store itself and BRS comes out to something like $2.50 for a 4.5lb bottle not including shipping which would be free by the time I bought enough from them.
